This year's International IISE Conference is scheduled for July 6-7 in the beautiful coastal city of València, Spain. As in previous years, this year's conference will be held in conjunction with ABEPRO and ADINGOR – respectively, the professional societies for industrial engineering in Brazil and Spain. In addition, the American Society for Engineering Management (ASEM) and the Eu- ropean Academy for Industrial Management (AIM) also will be co-sponsoring this conference, which also is being referred to as the International Joint Conference of all five societies. All sessions will be in English and will be integrated with a mix of presentations from aca- demics and professionals affiliated with each organization. The conference also provides great opportunities for networking and establishing international collaborations. Full papers up to eight pages and extended abstracts of presentations up to two pages are being solicited. All submissions will be peer-reviewed, and the submission deadline is Feb. 20. IISE members can take advantage of the discounted rate of 300 euros by registering before the early-registration deadline of May 15, when the member price increases to 400 euros.
